We went to Mackinaw for Labor Day Weekend and had a great time. Our trip started Friday morning, we got up at 7 went to the local coffee shop for coffee and hot chocolate, back home to pack up the trailer, then we were off to Saginaw where we traded in the Trailblazer for a Suburban and that took the good part of our day. We didn't get in to Mackinaw until after 10pm. Saturday we just hung around for the day and took a nice long nap while my parents took the dogs for a walk. Sunday we went to St. Ignace in the morning to see the craft show and thestn Chuck and I went to Mackinac Island. We made the bike ride around the whole island and then walked around the down town and grabbed a bit to eat then headed back to the campground. Monday morning we got up at 5:30 for the bridge walk and it was actually hot out. I was sweating by the end of the walk. We spent the rest of the day napping, swimming, and hanging out. Tuesday morning it was time to go home. Once we got home there was no was to have the 3 vehicles and the trailer in our driveway so we quickly unloaded the trailer and took it to a RV dealer to store it. Chuck is going to have to hurry up and finish the basement so he has a place to study dog free since his office is at storage now.
